that it will show ads in three new formats on the video streaming platform, shoppable carousel ads, interactive pause ads, and interactive brand trivia ads. Let’s take a look at how each of those will appear.

Shoppable carousel ads​


Currently, Prime Video shows advertisements during movies and TV shows. In the future, these advertisements will include a carousel of products on Amazon that people can explore and add to their carts. As soon as they start interacting with the carousel of products, the platform will stop playing the ad, and when they stop interacting with it, the platform will resume the ad.

Interactive pause ads​


Soon, when you pause a movie or a TV show on Prime Video, the platform will show a “translucent ad featuring brand messaging and imagery, along with an “Add to Cart” and “Learn More” creative overlay” for as long as the video is paused. As you might have guessed, people can interact with this ad and add products from it to their cart. In addition to that, they can “get more information (about a product in the ad) sent to their email

Interactive brand trivia ads​


With this type of ad, brands will be able to entertain customers by providing interesting facts about them. They will also be able to show products in this ad and allow people to add those to their cart. Lastly, this type of ad will allow people to “learn more about services and products, and even unlock rewards.
