Thankfully, Samsung appears to be constantly improving Galaxy AI by adding support for more languages. And now,

the growing list of languages Galaxy AI users can access.

Canadian French is now available for Galaxy AI across every device that offers the AI-powered suite — not just the Galaxy S24. The list includes the S23 series, the S23 FE, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup.

Now supporting 19 languages

Earlier this month, Samsung confirmed it

for at least seven additional languages and five dialects to Galaxy AI. Canadian French was among them, and support for it is now rolling out. With its addition, the list of languages supported by Galaxy AI has grown to 19.

Samsung confirmed that Galaxy AI users can now use Canadian French for:

  • Live Translate.
  • Interpreter.
  • Chat Assist.
  • Note Assist.
  • Transcript Assist.
  • Browsing Assist.

To use Canadian French in Galaxy AI, users only need to download the language pack via the Settings app — if they haven't already.

Aside from Canadian French, other languages supported by Galaxy AI as of this writing include Chinese, English (India, UK, USA), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Mexico, Spain, USA), Thai, Arabic, Indonesian, Russian, Vietnamese, Australian English, and Cantonese.

This year, Samsung should also add Galaxy AI support for Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, Swedish, traditional Chinese, and European Portuguese.
