, on the other hand, offers the Razr 40 Ultra, a direct rival to the one from Samsung, with 8GB RAM but only 256GB storage in the region, which gives the Galaxy Z Flip 5 an upper hand there. However, that’s going to change with Motorola’s upcoming foldable phone, the Razr 50 Ultra.

t from DealNTech, a retailer in Europe had accidentally posted the prices of the Razr 50 Ultra on its website. According to the listing, Motorola’s upcoming phone will be available in 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration in the region. That means the Razr 50 Ultra will not only match the amount of storage the Galaxy Z Flip 5 offers but also come with a 50% higher amount of memory than what the one from Samsung has.

This could put Samsung in trouble

Due to the higher amount of RAM, a lot of people could choose the Razr 50 Ultra over the Galaxy Z Flip 5, especially the ones who heavily multitask on their phones, which could cause Samsung a substantial loss. Fortunately for the South Korean tech giant, this memory configuration of the Razr 50 Ultra costs EUR 1,200, which is EUR 80 higher than the price of the 8GB + 512GB model of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. So, not many people will sway away from Samsung.

That being said, we think it is time for Samsung to start improving on the memory front, and offer the company's upcoming clamshell foldable smartphone,
